The Chinese programs in ASCC are developed and implemented under the Guideline of Curriculum and Standard Framework in Australian schools and that of Teaching China as Foreign Language stipulated by China Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) in Beijing, together with school-based curriculum development and management. The combined most updating teaching materials, such as Standard Chinese (Bilingual & 2nd Edition), Chinese Made Easy for Kids, Han Yu, Ni Hao and My Chinese are adopted as primary and supplementary materials.

The dynamic preschoolers’ classes intake children at age of 4, sometimes maybe 3 depend on their readiness to start learn another language as early as possible. While most of the students are attending the emersion Chinese classes in a Chinese-speaking environment, Bilingual Chinese classes are specially designed for those who would like to study Chinese with English speaking backgrounds. Those who have English, international family background or adopted children with Chinese origins are suitable for this class. At Year 11 & 12, students may enroll as Beginners, Continuing or Advanced levels according to their language backgrounds.

The school-aged Chinese classes are operated during ACT government school terms with a group of qualified, experienced and responsible teachers for teaching at different levels.
